So I went to a multi-media sculpture workshop last night led by Rachel Schrappart at Arts Junction.

Arts Junction is this really great little place where people bring their junk and artists can take it for free! It’s awesome.

The concept of the workshop was to basically just hunt for inspiring objects and make a sculpture out of them. I didn’t really have a concept going in there so I figured “when all else fails… make a vulva!” It’s mostly just doilies painted pink and pink flower petals dipped in beeswax, finished off with some other odds and ends that I found.
