You should maybe stop making assumptions.
Actually, some people cannot lose weight without putting severe stress on their body (under eating/over excersizing), and that is where my body fits into the scheme of things. The last time I successfully lost weight I was only eating 500 calories a day, while going to the gym about 4 hours a day (while also biking everywhere). I never saw below the 200 mark on the scale.
Claiming that there is one sure-fire way to lose weight is part of the problem, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. Your logic implies that while I excersize, I must be eating poorly. Some people CAN’T lose weight in a healthy way.
aaaaand a new comic I did for our body image feature!
Some people mistakenly believe that exercising will make you lose weight no matter what. The only thing that’ll make you lose weight is burning more calories than you consume, which may or may not involve exercising. And this knowledge of calories is how you can be ‘fat’ while being healthy, to a certain extent: exercise a lot, eat a lot, gain/maintain weight. I don’t think one could be morbidly obese and healthy at the same time.
Sounds like you probably have a thyroid problem or something because that’s really unusual. You should maybe see a doctor.
